IAG places order for up to 220 A320 aircraft; 120 to Vueling

International Airlines Group (IAG) placed (14-Aug-2013) an order for up to 220 A320 aircraft, with up to 120 of the aircraft to be delivered to Vueling. IAG stated the new aircraft will help Vueling to replace some of its A320s and to expand its business. The aircraft will be delivered to Vueling between 2015 and 2020, subject to approval from IAG's shareholders. The agreement includes 62 firm orders and 58 options for engines, for 30 A320ceo and 32 A320neo aircraft for Vueling.
