IAG may invest in Indian airlines if FDI rules relaxed

International Airlines Group CEO Willie Walsh stated the carrier may consider investing in Indian carriers if foreign direct investment rules are relaxed (Reuters, 15-Mar-2011). "If those (foreign investment) rules change, a lot of airlines, including IAG, would look at whether the opportunity was a good opportunity. But at the moment, we have to wait and see what the government would do," Mr Walsh stated.
