Hong Kong Airlines and Airbus sign purchase agreement for nine A330-300s
Hong Kong Airlines and Airbus signed (15-Sep-2016) a purchase agreement for nine A330-300 aircraft. The aircraft will primarily be used to further strengthen Hong Kong Airlines' existing services from Hong Kong to Asia. President and CEO Zhang Kui said the A330 series aircraft offers the flexibility for it to use the aircraft on long haul routes in the future, adding it is also scheduled to receive its first A350XWB aircraft in 2017, ushering a new chapter in the airline's international development.
