Honeywell forms new business unit for UAS and UAM

Honeywell formed (16-Jun-2020) a new unmanned aerial systems (UAS) business unit, dedicated to the growing UAS and urban air mobility (UAM) industries. The business unit will include its own engineering and sales resources, and will develop new products and services for the UAS and UAM markets. It will also act as a systems integrator for all Honeywell products and services in the sector. These offerings include aircraft systems such as avionics, electric and hybrid-electric propulsion and thermal management, flight services such as unmanned air traffic management, and ground operations services such as predictive aircraft maintenance analytics.
