Hawaiian Airlines reports 10th consecutive quarterly profit in 3Q2010

Hawaiian Airlines revenue up 15% - financial/traffic highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-2010:

  • Revenue: USD352.0 million, +15.2% year-on-year;
    • Passenger: USD310.0 million, +15.2%;
    • Cargo: USD23.0 million, +40.7%;
    • Other: USD19.0 million, -5.5%;
  • Operating costs: USD312.8 million, +10.9%;
    • Fuel: USD84.4 million, +23.4%;
    • Labour: USD73.7 million, +7.8%;
  • Operating profit: USD39.3 million, +65.5%;
  • Net profit: USD30.5 million, -0.7%;
  • Unrestricted cash and cash equivalents: USD315.5 million;
  • Passenger traffic (RPMs): +11.4%;
  • Passenger load factor: 86.9%, +2.0 ppts;
  • Revenue per ASM: USD 12.89 cents, +5.7%;
  • Cost per ASM: USD 11.46 cents, +2.0%;
