Hainan Airport revenue up 2.5%, profits mixed in 2009
China's Hainan Meilan International Airport Co reports (25-Mar-2010) the following financial/traffic highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:
- Total revenue: USD58.7 million, +2.5% year-on-year;
- Aeronautical: USD44.2 million, +3.1%;
- Passenger charges: USD18.0 million, +5.6%;
- Airport fee: USD14.4 million, +1.5%;
- Aircraft movement fees and related charges: USD6.3 million, +0.9%;
- Ground handling: USD5.5 million, +1.8%;
- Non-aeronautical: USD14.5 million, +0.6%;
- Aeronautical: USD44.2 million, +3.1%;
- Operating profit: USD26.4 million, +6.3%;
- Profit before tax: USD28.0 million, +3.4%;
- Net profit: USD26.4 million, -3.1%;
- Passenger numbers: 8.4 million; +2.1%;
- Cargo volume: 137,820 tonnes, +4.7%;
- Aircraft movements: 69,128, +4.1%. [more]
