Gulf Air aims to serve "every" Arab capital city with "at least" twice daily service

Gulf Air CEO, Samer Majali, stated the carrier aims to serve "every" Arab capital city with "at least" twice daily service, which is achievable with the introduction of regional jets to its fleet, including the two E170 ARs the carrier received on 04-Mar-2010. The carrier launched the aircraft to Larnaca on 08-Mar-2010. Gulf Air will deploy the E170 ARs on several other routes, including Istanbul, Athens, Erbil, Baghdad and Muscat. The two E170s will enable the airline to launch an expanded Summer Schedule for 2010, of which the details will be announced shortly. [more]
