GOL pax traffic down 18% in Feb-2013, PRASK up

GOL reports (13-Mar-2013) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2013:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): -17.8% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: -20.3%;
    • International: +10.1%;
  • Load factor: 64%, -1.9 ppts;

GOL: "Net passenger revenue per available seat-kilometre (PRASK) grew by 14% over Feb-2012. On a year to date comparison, PRASK reached 12%. This was the fourth consecutive double-digit increase in PRASK since the sharp decline in domestic capacity in recent months and 11th increase consecutive month. Net yields increased by 17%, to between BRL23.0 and BRL23.5 cents." Source: Company statement, 13-Mar-2013.
