GOL passenger traffic up 14.5%, yield above expectations in May-2010

GOL passenger traffic up 14.5% - system traffic highlights in May-2010:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +14.5% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: +14.9%;
    • International: +11.5%;
  • Load factor: 58.4%, +0.5 ppt;
    • Domestic: 58.8%, -0.8 ppt;
    • International: 55.3%, +8.2 ppts;

GOL: "Since most trips in May are business-related and load factors are lower than in the rest of the year, yields maintained their upward trajectory, averaging BRL 21.50 cents, despite the seasonally weaker period.
