GOL passenger traffic up 10%, yield up 5% in Jun-2010

GOL passenger traffic up 10% - Traffic highlights in Jun-2010:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +10.0% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: +8.3%;
    • International: +24.5%;
  • Load factor: 61.9%, -1.9 ppt;
    • Domestic: 61.8%, -3.8 ppts;
    • International: 62.4%, +11.0 ppts. [more]

GOL: “Total load factor decreased by 1.9 ppt from June 2009 but grew 3.5 ppts over May 2010 to reach 61.9%. As mentioned earlier, this was due to the repositioning of the route network, with a higher utilisation rate. The yield for the month of June was around BRL 20.00 cents, about 5% above the same period last year and within the company’s financial perspectives,” Company statement. Source: GOL, 07-Jul-2010.
