Garuda Indonesia confirmed as previously unidentified Bombardier CRJ1000 customer

Garuda Indonesia and Bombardier confirmed (15-Feb-2012) the Indonesian carrier as the unidentified customer that ordered the six CRJ1000 NextGen regional jets and placed 18 options, announced by Bombardier on 10-Feb-2012. As previously announced, based on the list price of the CRJ1000 aircraft, the airline's firm order is valued at approximately USD297 million and could increase to approximately USD1.32 billion should all 18 options be exercised. Including the order from Garuda Indonesia, Bombardier has recorded firm orders for 1715 CRJ Series aircraft, with 1661 delivered as of 31-Dec-2011. [more - original PR]
