Fraport planning to attract more LCCs to Frankfurt following opening of new runway

Germany's Fraport plans to attract more LCCs to Frankfurt Airport, following the opening of its new runway in 2011 (Reuters, 06-Sep-09). The airport management stated it has already entered initial talks with some LCCs, including easyJet. Fraport added the new runway could allow for further growth for Air Berlin and Asian carriers.
