Foreign tourist arrivals to India up 10.8% in 1H2010

India's Ministry of Tourism reports (07-Jul-2010) foreign tourist arrivals rose 8% year-on-year in Jun-2010. Details include:

Jun-2010:
- Foreign tourist arrivals: 370,000, +8% year-on-year;
- Foreign exchange earnings from tourism: USD1020 million, +28.1%.
6 months ended Jun-2010:
- Foreign tourist arrivals: 2.6 million, +10.8;
