flydubai unable to fly to Indian destinations

flydubai reportedly deferred plans to launch services from Dubai to Chandigarh, Coimbatore and Lucknow, as it has been unable to secure permission from the Indian Government (Economic Times, 11-Aug-2009). The carrier had planned to commence operations to India from mid-Jul-2009, with Goa to follow at a later date. flydubai has started offering refunds to passengers booked on services to India.
