Flybe Group appoints CEO

Flybe Group appointed (03-Jul-2013) Saad Hammad as CEO effective 01-Aug-2013. Mr Hammad was CCO of easyJet from Oct-2005 to Apr-2009 and was also a non-executive director of Air Berlin between May-2011 and Oct-2012. Mr Hammad is currently a MD at the Gores Group. Flybe's current chairman and CEO Jim French will become a non-executive chairman from 01-Aug-2013. [more - original PR]
