US Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, pledged (27-Aug-2010) that the central bank “will do all that it can” to help the economic recovery. Mr Bernanke added that the "task of economic recovery and repair remains far from complete", but added there was still a good chance that US economic expansion in 2011 will increase, despite a sharp fall in economic growth to 1.6% in 2Q2010.
