FAA proposes civil penalties against American Airlines

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated (12-Mar-2010) it is seeking to levy USD787,500 in penalties on American Airlines relating to three maintenance violations in 2008. American Airlines has 30 days from the receipt of the FAA's civil penalty letter to respond to the agency. [more]
