EU Commission to decide on Ryanair controlling stake in Laudamotion by 12-Jul-2018

European Commission, via its official website, listed (Jun-2018) a provisional deadline for a decision on Ryanair's planned acquisition of 75% of Laudamotion for 12-Jul-2018. Ryanair and Laudamotion entered into an agreement pursuant to which Ryanair has agreed, subject to EU competition approval, to increase its shareholding from 24.9% to a 75% in Laudamotion. Ryanair will provide financial and management support to Laudamotion, as well as between nine and 14 wet lease aircraft, to allow Laudamotion to complete a flying programme with 19 aircraft.
