Etihad Airways to raise capital to fund a rumoured stake acquisition in Jet Airways: report

Etihad Airways is reportedly likely to raise capital to fund a rumoured stake acquisition in Jet Airways (CNBC-TV18, 05-Dec-2012). The carrier is reportedly in talks with around four different foreign banks to gather around USD200 million. Therefore, it could be up to USD150-200 million of debt and the remaining capital could be funded through the internal accruals the company has in its book currently.
