Ethiopian Airlines previously planned to launch three times weekly Addis Ababa-Negele Borena and twice weekly Addis Ababa-Gore services in Apr-2026 using Dash 8-400 aircraft, alongside planned airport inaugurations at Negele Borena, Gore and Debre Markos.1 Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew said these airport openings and service launches marked a major milestone for the airline and Ethiopia, as it targeted a domestic network of 26 destinations.2
