Emirates begins major expansion across Asia Pacific in next two months

Emirates announced (04-Nov-2009) plans to increase Asia Pacific capacity, adding 17 services per week between Dec-2009 and Jan-2010, representing 13% capacity (seats) growth, bringing the carrier's services to the Asia Pacific to 187 per week. Increases from Dubai in Dec-2009 include:

• Bangkok: Fourth daily service 02-Dec-2009;
• Sydney: Third daily service from 02-Dec-2009;
• Manila: From 12 times weekly to twice daily;
• Jakarta: From ten times weekly to 11 times weekly. [more]
