Emirates Airline reported (13-May-2022) the following financial highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Mar-2022:

    • Passenger: AED32,917 million (USD9.0 billion), +193.1%;
    • Cargo: AED21,654 million (USD5.9 billion), +26.6%;
  • Total operating costs: AED59,618 million (USD16.2 billion), +29.8%;
    • Fuel: AED13,855 million (USD3.8 billion), +116.6%;
    • Labour: AED8441 million (USD2.3 billion), +7.8%;
  • Operating profit (loss): (AED438 million) (USD119.3 million), compared to a loss of AED15,021 million in p-c-p;
  • Net profit (loss): (AED3834 million) (USD1.0 billion), compared to a loss of AED20,300 million in p-c-p;
  • Total assets: AED149,984 million (USD40.8 billion);
    • Cash and cash equivalents: AED3966 million (USD1.1 billion);
