Emirates had recently commenced deploying A350 equipment on the Dubai-Mumbai route as part of its network expansion1. The airline planned to deploy A350s on services to Ahmedabad and Mumbai from 26-Jan-2025, expanding its A350 network to five destinations, including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain2. The A350 was first commercially introduced by Emirates on the Dubai-Edinburgh route, with plans to extend it to additional destinations soon after3.
