Emerald Airlines aiming to carry 2 million passengers per annum

Emerald Airlines CEO Conor McCarthy, speaking at CAPA Live September 2021, stated (09-Sep-2021) that in 2019, 3.2 million passengers used the routes the carrier plans to serve. Mr McCarthy said most of those travellers had been carried by the now defunct Stobart Air and Flybe, leading to a conservative target of two million passengers per annum for the new carrier.
