Embraer: 'Small aircraft have great potential' in South Korea

Embraer Asia Pacific marketing director Adam Young, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (11-Jun-2018) approximately two thirds of international departures in South Korea operate from Seoul Incheon International Airport while just 10% operate from secondary airports, presenting a major opportunity for LCCs. Mr Young said Korea Express Air demonstrates the effectiveness of smaller aircraft, such as the Embraer 145, to serve secondary cities, adding "small aircraft have great potential" in South Korea's aviation market.
