Edinburgh Airport reports second busiest month on record in Aug-2013

UK's Edinburgh Airport reported (11-Sep-2013) a 10.6% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 1.0 million in Aug-2013, the airport's second busiest month ever after handling 1.1 million passengers in Jul-2013. The result sees the airport having its busiest summer on record. Domestic passengers in Aug-2013 increased 10.5% to 436,462 and international passengers increased 10.6% to 599,948. Edinburgh Airport: "We can't be complacent however and if we're to continue to grow and make million passenger months a usual occurrence we need to invest.
