Edelweiss Air had previously announced it would receive six A350s in total, gradually replacing its A340-300s and restoring its long haul fleet to pre-pandemic levels by mid 2027, with the first four A350s initially operating in the original operator's configuration before a full cabin modernisation from late 20261 2. The carrier also planned to add two more short haul aircraft from SWISS, including its first A320neo3.
