Econetix delivered its first CP1-tagged CORSIA carbon credits, fulfilling a “million dollar” offtake agreement with an unnamed international commodity trading house1. Econetix also signed a CORSIA forward supply agreement with SmartestEnergy covering credits from its certified African portfolio, including improved cookstove and solar lamp programmes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo2. It earlier agreed a first CORSIA-compliant supply partnership with SCB Environmental Markets, progressing DRC credits towards CORSIA First and Second Phase eligibility3.
