Econetix previously signed a CORSIA forward supply agreement with SmartestEnergy, covering credits from its certified African project portfolio including improved cookstove and solar lamp programmes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with SmartestEnergy distributing to aviation and corporate buyers.1 It earlier closed its first CORSIA-compliant supply agreement with SCB Environmental Markets, with CEO Jakob Zenz citing ambitions for a multi-million-tonne CORSIA-eligible pipeline as projects progressed through certification.2
