EADS looking for airline customers willing to pay in euros

EADS CFO Hans Peter Ring said the company is in talks with airline customers for payment to Airbus in euros rather than US dollars and is seeking to identify airlines in Europe and the Middle East that have a "mirroring" currency exposure to EADS (Bloomberg, 11-Aug-2011). EADS is seeking to minimize the damage from the appreciation of the Euro against the US dollar and has been urging its suppliers to move more of their production to dollar zones or low-cost production areas.
