Duluth Airport opens new USD78m terminal

US' Duluth International Airport opened (14-Jan-2013) a new USD78 million terminal on 14-Jan-2013, replacing a previous terminal which ceased operations on 13-Jan-2013. The improved site features include:

  • Two main levels, connected by centrally located escalators, elevators and stairs;
  • Streamlined Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening process;
  • 400-seat passenger waiting area, complete amenities such as Wi-Fi, TVs, multiple in floor outlets for travellers' electronics, vending, restrooms and a restaurant and lounge;
