Dublin Airport reports busiest August ever in 2016

Dublin Airport reported (08-Sep-2016) a 9% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 2.9 million in Aug-2016, making its busiest August ever in the airport's history. Passengers to/from continental Europe increased 8% to more than 1.5 million while more than 926,000 passengers travelled to the UK, an increase of 13%. Trans-Atlantic passengers increased 6% to 339,000 while traffic to other international destinations fell 4% to 83,000. Domestic passengers increased 18% to 10,000.
