Application for a Statement of Authorization
jetBlue requests a blanket Statement of Authorization to enable it to place SAA's SA * designator code on points in the United States served by jetBlue with the initial markets for these operations listed below. jetBlue requests a blanket Statement of Authorization covering all US points at this time to provide it with the flexibility to expand this relationship to additional US points in the future. jetBlue plans to commence these codeshare services on or about February 15, 2011.
jetBlue Airways Corporation recently entered into an agreement with South African Airways which contemplates that jetBlue will place SAA's SA * designator code on jetBlue's flights between points in the United States for the purpose of transporting South Africa-US traffic to and from points served by jetBlue.
South Africa has, or will be requesting, a change in the US gateway cities designated to accommodate the list of initial codesharing routes.
