The operation of Prague Airport will not start before Monday 19-Apr 12:00
17-Apr-2010 On Friday, April 16th, 2010 at 12:00 p.m., the traffic at Prague Airport was temporarily suspended as a result of the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland.
The operation will not start before Monday, April 19th, 12:00.
It is not possible to predict at this point the development of the weather conditions and the time the operation will be resumed. We will keep you informed about further progress. Prague Airport will enable the passengers of today's cancelled flights to exit Parking C - the best area free of charge. Passengers will be asked to present a confirmation provided by a respective airline on cancellation of their flight on April 16th, 2010 to the parking dispatch area located in the Parking C Building.
Passengers with a flight cancellation certificate may use special offer of accommodation prepared by the network of Courtyard Marriott and Marriott Hotels in Prague.
Substitute transportation from Prague Airport
For your way to your final destination you can alternatively use the services of "Czech Railways". Direct bus connection to Prague Main Railway Station operates every 15 minutes from the airport.
