Due to restrictions on flights at Heathrow and other airports in place, it is very difficult to know if airlines scheduled to fly will indeed be able to do so during this period of uncertainty. It has now been confirmed that Frankfurt, Charles de Gaulle and Zurich airports are also closed. In terms of passengers, we have our terminal managers at ground level offering some assistance and co-ordinating between airlines and passengers so that those flying out are not stranded, says Unathi Batyashe-Fillis, Communications Manager at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
