16-Dec-2009 Nonstop service to Panama City Coming in May 2010.

Southwest Airlines has notified Nashville International Airport (BNA) that it is adding nonstop service to Panama City, Fla., beginning May 23, 2010. Southwest will add nonstop service to St. Louis, Seattle and Oakland, effective May 9, 2010, through Aug. 13, 2010. Southwest will also be adding flights to four markets it currently serves from BNA and reducing one of its daily flights to Tampa, effective May 9, 2010, through Aug. 13, 2010.

Effective May 23, 2010, Southwest will add two daily nonstop flights to Panama City, Fla. (ECP).

Effective May 9, 2010, through Aug. 13, 2010, Southwest will add daily nonstop service from BNA to these new markets:

Oakland (OAK) - One flight

Seattle (SEA) - One flight

St. Louis (STL) - Two flights

Effective May 9, 2010, through Aug. 13, 2010, Southwest will add one daily flight to each of the following markets:

Kansas City (KCI) - From three flights to four flights

Las Vegas (LAS)- From two flights to three flights

Phoenix (PHX) - From two flights to three flights

San Diego (SAN) - From one flight to two flights

Effective May 9, 2010, through Aug. 13, 2010, Southwest will reduce one daily flight to Tampa (TPA), resulting in four daily flights.

"Air service to these new markets and expansion of existing air service to several markets is a positive for Nashville International Airport's customers and strategic partners. Today's announcement helps expand the Nashville Airports Experience to more passengers and partners," said Raul Regalado, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, which owns and operates Nashville International.
