Rex Announces Q1 results for FY2010

Regional Express Holdings Limited announced its unaudited results for the first quarter of FY10. These are summarized below:

-Passenger revenue of $47.5M, a 14.6% reduction vs same period last FY

-Total revenue of $56.9M, a 15.8% reduction vs same period last FY

- 22.9% decrease in Net Profit After Tax to $3.7M

Regional Express (Rex) is Australia's largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of over 40 Saab 340 aircraft on some 1,300 weekly flights to 29 destinations throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Queensland. The Rex Group comprises Regional Express, air freight and charter operator Pel-Air Aviation and Dubbo-based regional airline Air Link, as well as the pilot academy Australian Airline Pilot Academy.
