Wizz Air adds third aircraft to Prague

01-Sep-2009 Following its rescue offer made to SkyEurope passengers yesterday, Wizz Air, the largest low fare – low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would further expand in Prague.

The company will increase frequencies on some of its existing routes already from September and October and add a third aircraft enabling new route openings from June 2010 with announcement coming shortly.

'With these frequency changes we are stepping up immediately to accommodate the increased demand and from summer next year we will be operating a 3 aircraft base in Prague. The new aircraft will de deployed from June 2010 to enable us to expand our summer routes as well as introduce further year round services.' - said József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air.

Wizz Air has announced a special rescue fare of EUR 30 all inclusive one way fare to passengers who hold a valid SkyEurope booking for travel between 1 September 2009 and 26 March 2010. To benefit from the special offer passengers should go to wizzair.com or call the Wizz Air call centers. Seats are subject to availability and the rebooking should be made by 15 September.
