Deutsche Lufthansa AG names Ulrik Svensson new CFO

Deutsche Lufthansa AG Board of Directors announced (01-Jul-2016) the appointment of Ulrik Svensson as new CFO, effective 01-Jan-2017 with a contract of employment valid until 31-Dec-2019. Mr Svensson succeeds Simone Menne, who, by agreement with the Executive and Supervisory Boards, will leave the company on 31-Aug-2016. For the interim period between Simone Menne's departure and Ulrik Svensson's assumption of his new duties, Carsten Spohr, chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, will head the company's Finance division in addition to his CEO duties.
