US' Detroit Wayne County Airport passenger numbers down 1% - traffic highlights for May-2012:

Passenger numbers: 2.8 million, -0.7% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 2.5 million, -1.3%;
- International: 236,615, +7.2%;
Cargo volume: 18,621 tonnes, +12.3%;
- Freight: 17,395 tonnes, +10.8%;
- Mail: 1221 tonnes, +38.8%;
Aircraft movements: 36,596, -1.8%.
