Denver International Airport reports second busiest month in Aug-2016

Denver International Airport reported (19-Oct-2016) a 7.6% year-on-year increase to 5.4 million passengers in Aug-2016, marking the second busiest month in the history of the airport. DEN CEO Kim Day said: "As we close out the busy summer travel season, August marked the twelfth consecutive month of record-setting passenger traffic at Denver International Airport, made possible in part by the most monthly connecting passengers since 2010. We also saw an 8-percent increase in international passenger traffic, which received a boost from Air Canada's new nonstop service from Denver to Montreal and Lufthansa's nonstop service to Munich."
