Delta receives approval for its lease and license agreement at Los Angeles

Delta Air Lines received (24-Aug-2016) unanimous approval for its lease and license agreement at Los Angeles International Airport from the Los Angeles City Council, allowing it to relocate from terminals 5 and 6 to the complex at terminals 2 and 3. The decision marks "another vital step" in Delta's future USD1.9 billion airport project, which will enable the carrier to build a premier space for its LAX operations alongside its airline partners. The project will also provide a secure connector to the north side of the Tom Bradley international terminal. An environmental impact review process will now follow. [more - original PR]
