Delta becomes launch operator for ATMOSPHÈRE cabin, orders 20 CRJ-900 aircraft

Delta Air Lines signed (20-Jun-2018) a firm purchase agreement with Bombardier for 20 CRJ-900 aircraft, becoming the launch operator of the new ATMOSPHÈRE cabin for CRJ series regional aircraft. The firm order is valued at approximately USD961 million based on list prices. The new CRJ900 aircraft with ATMOSPHÈRE cabin will operate under the Delta Connection brand in a two class configuration with 70 seats, replacing older regional aircraft.
