Delta Air Lines met its 2025 near-term goal of 1% fuel burn savings, delivering over 55 million gallons in jet fuel savings from operational improvements and targeting a 50% increase in sustainable aviation fuel use compared to 20241. It had previously set a 10% sustainable aviation fuel usage goal for 2025, along with significant fuel efficiency and electrification targets2.
