Delhi Airport announces 18% increase in Dec-2011 pax, cargo down 2%

India's Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport passenger numbers up 18.3% - traffic highlights for Dec-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.2 million, +18.3% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 2.2 million, +20.3%;
    • International: 979,256, +14.0%;
  • Cargo volume: 47,114 tonnes, -2.2%;
    • Domestic: 18,013, -0.2%;
    • International: 29,101, -3.4%;
  • Aircraft movements: 25,550, +10.9%;
    • Domestic: 19,049, +18.6%;
    • International: 6501, -6.8%.
