Delhi Airport announces 15% increase in Jan-2012 pax, cargo down 12%

India's Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport passenger numbers up 14.5% - traffic highlights for Jan-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 3.0 million, +14.5% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 2.0 million, +14.5%;
    • International: 993,062, +14.5%;
  • Cargo volume: 44,648 tonnes, -12.0%;
    • Domestic: 17,407, -5.6%;
    • International: 27,241, -15.7%;
  • Aircraft movements: 24,721, +9.3%;
    • Domestic: 18,330, +14.3%;
    • International: 6391, -3.0%.
