Copenhagen Kastrup Airport pax up 1% in Jul-2012, expects stabilisation in domestic traffic
Denmark's Copenhagen Kastrup Airport passenger numbers up 1% - traffic highlights for Jul-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 2.3 million, +1.3%;
- Domestic: 125,182, -31.1%;
- International: 2.2 million, +4.1%;
- Aircraft movements: 20,039, -7.1%;
- Domestic: 1649, -50.0%;
- International: 18,390, +0.6%.
The airport also reported the following top 10 destinations by passenger numbers in Jul-2012:
- London: 148,546, -4.0%;
- Oslo: 100,292, +10.3%;
- Paris: 81,262, -2.4%;
- Stockholm: 80,066, +8.2%;
- Helsinki: 75,928, +9.2%;
- Amsterdam: 71,604, -4.1%;
- Frankfurt: 71,382, +18.9%;
- Aalborg: 55,067, -19.4%;
- Keflavik Reykjavik: 51,530, +3.5%;
- Berlin: 50,411, +32.3%.
Copenhagen Airport expects domestic traffic is likely to stabilise over the next few months as and when airlines fill the void following the Cimber Sterling bankruptcy.
