COOPANS alliance ANSPs coordinate rollout of ATM system update

Austro Control announced (31-Jan-2017) COOPANS Alliance ANSPs, which comprises Austro Control, Croatia Control, Irish Aviation Authority, LFV and Naviair, and LFV, successfully conducted a coordinated release for updated Thales TopSky ATM software. The ANSPs implemented the upgrade on alternating days during the week 18-Jan-2017. The synchronised upgrade includes provisions to facilitate more cooperation between the ANSPs, particularly via optimisation of online data interoperability.
