Condor CEO confirms early repayment of KfW state aid

Condor Flugdienst CEO Peter Gerber, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit - Airlines in Transition, stated (24-Apr-2026) the carrier repaid its granted state aid to KfW ahead of schedule, showcasing its financial resilience. Mr Gerber said: "We paid it back before time, exactly six months beforehand, showing that of course the year has been quite successful for us".
