Emirates stated (Oct-2016) the China-Australia market has become one of the most competitive in the world, with rapid traffic growth driven by smaller Chinese airlines entering the market from non-hub airports in China. Emirates said the increased competition is forcing participants to improve products and services and explore new business models and greater cooperation.
